 I have installed

 '''gtk2 @2.24.7_0+no_x11+quartz (active)
 '''on my os x 10.5.8.

 When running a program that calls pango (exp. pango-view). It has problem
 of showing some unicode texts correctly. I also get the error message:

 {{{Pango-WARNING **: Expected RTL run but shape-engine='BasicEngineATSUI'
 returned LTR. Fixing.}}}
