and transition it to the `ghc` port for now?
ghc bleeding-edge is really for ghc developers only, almost nothing from
 cabal really
works meaning that it's almost useless for other development. So yeah,
 definitely mark ghc-devel as obsolete.

 > Thanks for your work so far.
Thank you cal, people like you make me want to contribute more to
 MacPorts.

Also, I'm muchly embarassed, but I just got some build failure warnings
from the macports buildbot, I realised that I accidentally set parallel
 compiles
on in the port I posted, this is wrong, it should definitely be off.

Again, my apologies about that and also about the patch.

 >On your devel.tar.gz, I'll have a look soon, but some of the ports in
there are not openmaintainer or nomaintainer and I can't thus just update
them per our update policies ( http://guide.macports.org/#project.update-
policies). I'll try to update those that are open- or nomaintainer, but
for the others, we'll need to file tickets.

Ok, I'll post the ticket right now (I'll just do one for all the updates)
Let's do it reasonably quickly because without cabal-install (hs-cabal)
ghc is useless for real development.

 Kind Regards
