 I have just tried the portfile patch given above.
 (Doing it automatically with the patch command gave a syntax error, so I
 applied the change manually with an editor).

 The new version installed gcc4.7 OK, but when it got down to upgrading
 boost it crashed out: excerpt

 And it never manages to find patch-tools_build_v2_engine_src_build.sh.diff
 anywhere. Am I doing something sily?
