 I would like to propose a patch to resolve this feature request. With it,
 an application bundle is installed in the post-destroot phase to the
 Applications/MacPorts folder. This bundle contains a configured
 Info.plist, which template Info.plist.in is also contained in the proposed
 patch. The icon for the application bundle is taken from the CMake source
 file. The binary of cmake-gui is found via a symbolic link to
 /opt/local/bin/cmake-gui, which is created within the application bundle.
 This technique to create an application bundle for a port is used by the
 Ipe port.
