Comment:

 I've committed it in r96015 with these changes:

  * added standard modeline
  * converted to using github portgroup, thereby allowing it to fetch from
 a distfile instead of from git, and fixing the livecheck
  * ensured we're UsingTheRightCompiler and -arch flags and added a
 universal variant
  * enabled verbose build output
