 Please let me know if this is not the right place for asking, but anyways:

 * I would like to maintain the cfitsio port.

 * Why isn't the libcfitsio.dylib version set?

         /opt/local/lib/libcfitsio.dylib (compatibility version 0.0.0,
 current version 0.0.0)

 * Why are almost all (~ 1000 on my system) libs installed as the
 {{{root}}} owner, but for {{{cfitsio}}} the user is {{{macports}}}?
