 Sorry I didn't get back to your email query; I've been swamped with other
 work. I'm now in the process of upgrading octave-devel to 3.6.4 -- which
 probably won't fix this issue but you never know. I hope to get the
 upgrade in place in the next couple of days and can then work on this
 ticket. I know of no work-arounds at this time.
