 IMHO, we are far more likely to destablize this package by attempting to
 hand apply the current autoupdates[[BR]]
 than just to live with utilizing that feature. Also I doubt we will see
 another release of the 2.2.x series (as current[[BR]]
 development is focused on the 3.0 release).
