 After I almost got the CMake-based Portfile working, I realized that CMake
 adds {{{'-arch x86_64'}}} to the fortran compiler. Arghhhh. I saw a
 possible solution in plplot port
 (https://trac.macports.org/browser/trunk/dports/science/plplot/Portfile).
 I will try to mimick the plplot port, but I'll file a separate bug report.
