 Hmm, not sure how that happened...

 patchfile name—i.e., “Portfile-gnumeric.diff”.
 Maybe the documentation should be changed to make that more apparent,
 "Portfile-PORT_NAME.diff, where PORT_NAME is the name of the port" for
 example.
