 BTW, Atlas builds quickly with gccXX because it has, for GCC only, a set
 of precomputed figures optimizing the various parameters of the different
 kernels. In the case of Clang, no such set is available, so Atlas goes
 through the whole process of testing each combination of parameters to
 find the best one. Takes several hours (usually ca. 4 to 6)
 But now that Clang correctly compiles Atlas, it is probable that Clint
 Whaley, the senior developer, will include precomputed figures for Clang
 in a future revision.
