 A guess: I used the SVN trunk of MacPorts, which contains changes specific
 for 10.9 that are not in the latest release.  If anyone wants to be brave
 and try out the SVN trunk on this issue that might prove interesting.  I
 tend to believe the right way to do this is:
 {{{
 sudo port -f uninstall installed
 sudo port clean all
 }}}
 follow the [http://guide.macports.org/#installing.macports.subversion
 instructions] to install from SVN trunk, including the optional one. Then:
 {{{
 sudo port install gnuradio-devel +gcc48 +atlas
 }}}
 which will take a long time.

 Or, wait until the release of port 2.2.2 or 2.3.0 (I'm not sure of the
 numbering, nor the release date).
