 A reasonable code, not a reasonable patch. I suspect the patch was
 intentionally left out for the 3.0.0 release. See the links in the
 upstream ticket. The code is needed to determine whether the app is
 bundled or not. And in case it is not bundled, it is brought to the front.
 The developers aren't sure yet how to properly address that problem.
