 As of libgee 0.7.x and 0.8.x, a major API update occurred (and the update
 from 0.6 to 0.7 was closed in #30894). Is it possible to support both
 versions in the tree, similarly to how (e.g.) FreeBSD or Fedora do so: by
 providing a libgee06 (supporting gee-1.0) and a libgee (supporting
 gee-0.8)?
