Comment:

 Steve has already resolved the problem by deleting the /opt/local/bin/sed
 symlink he created. Since it is a user error to make `sed` GNU sed on OS
 X, there's nothing more we need to do in MacPorts for now.

 I have filed [https://github.com/erikd/libsndfile/issues/49 upstream issue
 49] so that the developer can resolve the remaining issues with his code
 before releasing 1.0.26. If he doesn't, we can take further action when
 updating the port to that version.
