 However it works with `-lblas` rather than `-llapack` (I saw
 [http://software.intel.com/sites/products/documentation/hpc/mkl/mkl_userguide_lnx
 /GUID-ABCC618B-43C4-4DCD-ADA2-6F061B5116CD.htm some docs] suggesting that
 the function should be part of blas rather than lapack).

 After the following change (I made two changes, I'm not sure which made
 made the difference yet) the `configure` step succeeds. Again, this
 doesn't seem to be related to Atlas.
