 From your debug output it does look like a null pointer error in libsdl
 but I can't reproduce it here with any videos that I have tried using
 either ffmpeg-devel or mplayer-devel -vo sdl configured as you mention in
 #42906.  Is this repeatable with any video that you try? Does mplayer-
 devel work correctly if you use the corevideo driver?
