 A portgroup is like a header file in C. It gets included into the port.
 The fix is to have h5utils use the same MPI compiler as hdf5. Basically,
 we need to copy the logic from the
 [[https://trac.macports.org/browser/trunk/dports/science/hdfeos5/Portfile?rev=125719|hdfoes5
 portfile]].
