 I'm currently using perl5.18  (sudo port install perl5 +Perl5_18) and
 tried the suggested work-around

 {{{
 sudo port -ns upgrade --force mod_perl2
 }}}

 but the build for that fails, too. So does:

 {{{
 sudo port uninstall mod_perl2
 sudo port install mod_perl2
 }}}

 Thus I'm still stymied with getting p5-libapreq2 installed.
