 When I build this project from source under MacPorts, in order to avoid
 the error described in #41100, I need to have the following environment
 variable set before running `gschem`:

 {{{
 export LTDL_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/local/lib
 }}}

 Somehow this allows the application to find the guile library it is
 missing. Hope this helps in the investigation.
