 Hi René, this all looks quite complicated, but interesting as it allows
 for automatic dependency generation of devel ports. Very cool indeed!
 Am quite distracted with real life issues these days, which is why I can't
 promise testing all this very quickly, especially not both variants
 standard and XDG-compliant...

 BTW, I am wondering whether one can get {{{kate}}} to build with this
 already!
