 This is an impressive amount of work!

 Yet, how do you:
 * manage version updates for all those sub-ports now? Do you use some
 script to get the checsums in sync with the corresponding version?
 * create the individual lists of dependencies of all those sub-ports, is
 it manually done or scripted??
