 From the buildbots, it's interesting that this issue occurs on Lion (10.7)
 and Mountain Lion (10.8), not on Mavericks (10.9) or Yosemite (10.10).
 I've no idea why ... I don't see it on my 10.10 or 10.8 boot disks.
