 Interesting. Can you try building with the new `+gui` variant? Also,
 plotting is controlled via `gnuplot`. Do you have `gnuplot +aquaterm`
 installed? If not, try that first (i.e. install `gnuplot +aquaterm` then
 `octave +atlas +gcc49`). That works for me here.
