 I had a minor build error with atlas, which was triggered during a "port
 install octave" at first it could not find any fortran compiler on my
 system, but gcc49 was listed as recommended way of resolving that
 dependency for octave.  I manually ran the "port install gcc49" and that
 got me past this problem.
