 As part of an effort to install octave, I am not able to satisfy the
 pstoedit dependency.  I'm not sure of the cause, please note that I have
 gcc49 and xcode/clang installed.  I've attached the output of "port list"
 and log file that appears when I try building as follows.

 $ sudo port install -v pstoedit
