 here's a diff (Portfile and patches included) for port:VLC-devel, up to
 and including today's commit 7491a5ff .

 It includes the libVLC subport I introduced in my recent update to
 port:VLC .

 The port directory can also be found at https://github.com/RJVB/mp-port-
 repository/tree/master/multimedia/VLC-devel
