 The libomp build machinery was inherited from the original openmp project
 code which was a perl based build system. The fat libomp has always been
 built by compiling libomp twice into separate directories and then
 lipo'ing to sets of binaries together. I wouldn't be holding my breath to
 see this redesigned anytime soon as they have far more important things to
 do with openmp 4.5 support.
