 Although I asked to discuss this on macports-dev, I guess we can do it
 here.

 I would like to see an upstream reference (in documentation or on their
 dev mailing list) with consensus that people shouldn't be building nmap-
 update by default even though it's in the default ./configure build.

 In general, MacPorts tries to provide fully-functional ports with
 exceptions up to the discretion of the maintainer.
