 I didn't set the locales like that. Terminal.app sets them like that when
 the checkbox [Preferences/Profiles/Advanced/Set locale environment
 variables on startup] is unchecked. iTerm sets them like that when the
 checkbox [Preferences/Profiles/Terminal/Set locale variables
 automatically] is checked.

 And in both cases, Homebrew's Python works and MacPorts' doesn't.
