 hello , thanks for these elucidating links. what would i need to do to
 make the older machine able to cope with https-site?
 i am willing to learn and contribute and would also pay for getting the
 machine less obsolete ...
 if i can manually download these files and compile/build them please share
 a link where it is best described.
