 But it is still a PITA to specify an older version to install with
 MacPorts.  For those interested, this is what I used:

 sudo port uninstall -f erlang
 cd /tmp
 git clone --single-branch https://github.com/macports/macports-ports.git
 cd macports-ports
 git checkout e80897a5cc8f3583eac1bff12a62db6dc8ce4f99
 cd lang/erlang
 sudo port install
 }}}
