 We should probably wait to see what upstream says about those two PRs
 before making lots more for other projects.

 The issue may become moot soon anyway, since
 [https://wiki.gnome.org/Initiatives/GnomeGoals/MesonPorting gnome projects
 are switching to meson], so the autotools-specific autogen.sh scripts will
 be going away. For glib, the meson build system is already done, and the
 autotools build system that we're using for it in MacPorts now will be
 deprecated with the next major version and removed the next major version
 after that.

 But I don't know if meson works on Tiger. I'd like it to, so if you want
 to see if you can build some port that uses meson on Tiger that would be
 helpful, and if you find any problems you can file tickets and we can look
 into those.
