 Yes, it's true that version 0.9.26 is available, but I have not been able
 to make them build, either.

 I have a question in to the Demeter developer, but he hasn't got back to
 me yet. Anyway, I am working on the problem. The problem appears to have
 to do with Perl, which I know nothing about. (That might make me a bad
 choice to be the Demeter maintainer, but that's a different story.)
