 Unfortunately, these seems to be different issues.\\
 The tab-complete issue seems to have been introduced in a changes intended
 to
 [http://cvsweb.netbsd.org/bsdweb.cgi/src/lib/libedit/filecomplete.c?sortby=date#rev1.47
 facilitate filename completion].

 I am still working on the history issue.
