 Agreed.  patch-configure-switch-for-gappinfo-impl.diff is also autoconf
 specific so that needs to be ported to meson. I'm working on that now.
 Once I get it working without +universal, I'll post it as a WIP PR so we
 both can work on it.  Once you agree to the changes, we can merge it as
 glib2-devel and see what happens :-).
