 Well from the perspective of the summary and description, it is fixed.
 Folks will have to work hard to have some already-installed poppler to
 have the issue found herein. :)

 That said: Yes I do agree that the meta-issue is still at large & should
 probably have an issue open for it.

 -That- said: I don't have time to deal with this, which is why I just
 pushed the build conflicts back into the port. I -always- prefer to be
 able to install a port regardless of what else is installed. It's more
 challenging sometimes to get the configuration and build scripts correct
 enough, but when done well it is maintainable and as future proof as can
 reasonably be expected.
