Comment (by ryandesign):

 Yes, I assumed while developing my patch that it would be a problem that
 `CTLineGetTrailingWhitespaceWidth` returns a double, but it compiled on
 High Sierra so I committed it. The compiler on Leopard is apparently less
 tolerant of this.
