 Note that although there are still Connector/J 5.1.x releases being made,
 they now have the unusual requirement of needing both JDK 5 and JDK 8
 simultaneously to be built from source. Connector/J 8.0.x only needs JDK 8
 or later for building.

 The `jakarta-log4j` dependency might also be optional or unneeded.
