 according to <https://bugs.launchpad.net/geda/+bug/1782306> geda only ever
 worked with guile-2.0, and failed with this error when using guile-2.2.
 There is a suggested change in that ticket to make it build/link against
 guile-2.2, but someone had an issue with it.

 Did this ever work?

 I don't see a {{{guile-2.0}}} port available in macports.
