 It will be very helpful to know how to avoid Macports asking every
 dependency to be build in 64-bit. I am not much concerned if Cmake is
 64-bit indeed. But I want to get R built as 64-bit, at least on 10.5.8.
 But every time I try to use +universal to get ppc and ppc64 for any port,
 Macports starts trying to build multiple dependencies with this setting.
 More often than not it fails.
