 Roger that, thanks for the info :) I've been thinking lately that maybe I
 should get back into C programming, so that I could possibly figure out
 how to keep some of this new software alive for my old Yosemite. In a
 perfect world run by me, there would be a fork of OS X Yosemite as the
 basis for a new and better OS :D Right now, my brain overheats from an
 hour in a terminal window, though, so outlook to C programming is probably
 long XD

 I'll have a go at the mkvtoolnix-libcxx version! Thanks for that :D
