 @vjarao : Thanks for doing that extensive testing.

 On my end: None of the Python variants make a difference, so this is not
 directly a Python-related issue.

 GRC works as desired on Intel x86_64, so I think this is an ARM64 issue.
 I'm going to note this in the title & related info. I am not sure what the
 issue is, nor why it started now.

 Can you try reverting GTK3 to it's prior version before the recent update?
 We -did- have GRC working, and that update seems like an obvious point
 where it was broken.
