Comment:

 Michael pointed out to me by e-mail that there is an issue with
 {{{py37-sip}}} (but not the py38/py39 versions) on {{{arm64}}}, is that
 the architecture you're using as well? Presumably you can reproduce the
 error you're seeing by just doing:
 {{{sip-build-3.7}}}, can you please try that?

 I'll have to take a look, but it works fine for me so if it's really
 architecture dependent I'll probably need some help in figuring this one
 out.
