 I tried twice to "sudo port install xemacs" and ended with {{{Error:

 After looking through former tickets the same problem was reported in
 #64171 (9 months ago and closed) The configure errors start with precisely
 the same info as reported in #64171

 It is a new MacBook Pro with, the latest system. a new installation of
 Macport, the only and first port attempt.
