 that’s an impressive list.

 Although not specifically with ppc on 10.6.8 in mind, the codebase in
 MacPorts is in general very robust and carefully written, and so fairly
 able to handle a lots of unpredicted combos.

 Which is how I was able to get it to work on 10.6 for PPC in about 15
 minutes in the first place…
