 When I Google that error message, I get
 [https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/631168/dbus-call-failedgdbus-
 errororg-freedesktop-dbus-error-serviceunknown the suggestion] to install
 "a thumbnailer" like [https://ports.macports.org/port/tumbler/details/
 tumbler], so maybe try that. Hopefully it gets rid of that message,
 however I'm not certain whether that message is the cause of the window
 drawing problems you're seeing.
