 I have not been monitoring the libressl port, but in scanning Trac tickets
 and pull requests history over the past year, the maintainer has no
 activity, which is unfortunate.  On the other hand, PRs have been
 routinely merged, sometimes due to maintainer timeout, but sometimes
 neglecting timeout and committing within 24 hours.  The lack of maintainer
 oversight has resulted in libressl now tracking upstream's development
 branch, and libressl-devel is stale, behind even upstream's stable branch.

 Whichever way the libressl/-devel ports and maintainer issue are resolved,
 please learn and follow MacPorts operating style.  The current state of
 the ports complicates matters for other port maintainers (at least me).
