 This is not unheard of.
 I run into it upon termination of the IDE on MacOS 10.15 on x86 as well.
 However, I have yet to see it on MacOS 12.6, also on x86. So it may be
 that this is contained to older systems.
 Despite the unclean termination the system works as intended for me at
 least. So, unless it leaves detritus lingering in memory etc. it may only
 be an ugly termination rather than a proper problem.
