 I question upstream's wisdom, relative to fetching these CSS artifacts at
 build time: They're pulling specific versions anyway - and hopefully (?)
 they aren't being stealthily-updated - so they could certainly be packaged
 in the source tarball. Ugh.

 Grumbling aside, unless someone can provide a solution ASAP, perhaps we
 should simply revert to the previous version. This is blocking downstream
 ports, and we can't leave this broken for long.
